The movie has a real story (not just a sketch compilation), and also has a very relevant message about today’s state of the world. Some aspects of the movie can be compared to Borat, as random people reactions were filmed when the actor was wandering the streets dressed as Hitler, but this is not the meat of the movie. It’s funny, the story is creative, the main actors are very well cast. But some others also notice he is entertaining, and he starts getting invited to various TV shows… People at first believe he is just a comedian or some kind of crazy person. Shocked and lost, he wanders in the streets of Berlin. He does not why or how, but he just woke up in the middle of a park in 2014, with no knowledge about what happened after 1945. Soon he becomes the star of their satirical programme. There he is discovered by some TV producers, who take him to be a Hitler impersonator of rare method-acting genius. Having failed to find his bunker, he takes up temporary residence in a newspaper kiosk. Adapted from the novel of the same name, it follows the adventures of Adolf Hitler mysteriously coming back in modern Germany. Adolf Hitler wakes up on a patch of wasteland in Berlin. Er ist wieder da (Look Who's Back) is a German comedy from 2015.
